Starting Solids with Confidence

Starting Solids with Confidence

A special workshop for parents and babies up to 10 months.

Join us for a supportive and evidence-based introduction to starting solids led by Stephanie Hefez, MS, CCC-SLP, pediatric feeding and swallowing expert, licensed speech-language pathologist, and mom. This session is designed to help you feel confident, informed, and connected as you begin this exciting (and sometimes overwhelming!) journey with your baby.

In this course, parents will learn how to identify signs of developmental readiness, introduce allergens, distinguish between gagging and choking, teach straw and open cup drinking, and know when to seek professional help. You’ll leave with simple, practical strategies to build mealtime routines that support your baby’s development and reduce stress for everyone at the table.

Stephanie brings 10 years of clinical experience and a deep understanding of pediatric feeding disorder (PFD), helping families create sustainable habits that promote active mealtime participation. This session will begin with an overview of starting solids with your baby and include plenty of time for questions at the end.
